Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker to attend European Conference of Presidents of Parliament
A delegation led by Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov will visit Oslo, Norway to attend the European Conference of Presidents of Parliament (ECPP) on September 10-13. The delegation includes MPs Chingiz Asadullayev, Sahiba Gafarova, Khanlar Fatiyev, head of the Parliamentary Administration Safa Mirzayev and other officials.
The Azerbaijani delegation will attend the discussions on “Fundamental constitutional rights and freedoms – participation, trust and public debate as conditions for democracy” and “Majority and opposition – striking a balance in democracy”.
The Azerbaijani delegation will also attend the event dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Norway's constitution.
