Was born in 1928. In 1950 graduated from Baku State University. During 1950-1953 was a post-graduate student of Moscow State and Law Institute. Doctor of Science in Law, professor. He is a head of the chair of State Law in Baku State University. In 1992-1996 was the rector of Baku State University. In 1995 was a deputy and during 1996-2005, the chairman of the National Assembly. Presently he is a deputy of the Milli Majlis.
Ali Ahmadov
Was born in 1953. In 1975 he graduated from the Institute of History in Moscow. He worked as a teacher and a head of the chair of Political Science at the Baku State University. In 1998-1999 he was deputy head of the department in the Executive Apparat of the President and the head of executive power of Khatai district.
In 1999, he was elected as the executive secretary at the first congress of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and YAP deputy chairman and executive secretary at the YAP third congress held 26 March 2005. He is the member of the Milli Majlis. He has two children.
